| Description: | This photograph shows a trophy won by the Libertyville Fire Department during the 37th Annual Lake County Firemens Convention in May 1969. M. James Bentley and three other firefighters received the "Grand Award" trophy for outstanding maintenance of their fire apparatus. Assistant Chief Bentley died in the line of duty in 2004, and the trophy is now on display as part of the memorial to him at the Libertyville Fire Department Station #1. |
