Incident Summary

On May 20, 1969, Chicago Fire Department Captain Frank Brady of the Fire Prevention Bureau suffered a fatal heart attack in the line of duty. Brady collapsed while attending a fundraiser at the Conrad Hilton Hotel. He was transported to Wesley Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Funeral services for Brady were held at St. Monica Church on May 23, and he was survived by his widow and three children.
