Bio:Tim Lash is Director of Information Technology at the Fire Service Institute and is responsible for IT infrastructure decisions, design, maintenance, and support. Tim joined IFSI in 2001 to serve as a part-time tech support assistant in the IT office while working to obtain his degree. Through the years Tim has advanced to leading the tech support team, becoming the Assistant Manager of Systems Services, and now currently serves as the acting Manager of Systems Services.Tim leads a team of three other IT professionals whom collectively work to utilize information technology to help firefighters and first responders train more effectively online, in the classroom, and out on the training grounds. Through the institute’s blended learning programs, the IT team hopes they can help firefighters and first responders attain the cutting edge training they need, so they can save lives and return home safely. |
